Project: Hydrophobic Lens Box (.pdf)
Completed: Fall 2005
Description: Hydrophobic intraocular lens box.
Skills: Name and brand, design, conform to CE mark regulations.
Programs: Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Illustrator.
Target Audience: Doctors, ophthalmic professionals, medical distributors.
Notes: Gave the box a matte finish. A UV spot coat was applied to the lens graphic to make it mimic a lens by actually reflecting light.

Project: IrisVue Refractive Lens Box (.pdf)
Completed: Winter 2005
Description: Clam-shell style medical device box.
Skills: Design, brand, conform to CE mark regulations.
Programs: Photoshop, QuarkXPress.
Target Audience: Ophthalmic surgeons, medical device distributors.
Notes: This lens product is an alternative to LASIK. I decided to focus on a panoramic image that would punctuate the freedom of restored vision -encapsulated within a lens-shaped horizon.

Project: Hexafast Instructions for Use Insert (.pdf)
Completed: Spring 2007
Description: Medical device(s) product insert.
Skills: Brand, design, logo, photography, copywriting, CE regulations.
Programs: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
Target Audience: Ophthalmic surgeons.
Notes: The challenge here was explaining a complex surgical procedure and presenting multi-device information in several languages in a 10" X 14" insert.
