The coincidence of my initials aside, this site really is all about me. I do occasional freelance graphic design work when I have time, but the main purpose of this site is not to sell my freelance services. This site is mainly informational - so here's the information...

I'm based in southern California and have worked in just about every artistic medium or computer program, on virtually any type of marketing project you could name. In addition to my graphic design skills, in the past couple years, I have developed a keen interest in web marketing strategies (particularly search engine optimization) and have had success in attaining high search engine rankings for targeted keyword search terms.

I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, and an associate's degree in Graphic Design. I tend to think like an artist but work like a designer. I have a strong work ethic and always put the client's message first. Whatever doesn't add to a design, takes something away from it. Function should define form, and form should determine ornamentation. So generally less is more, but every once in a while more is more. Knowing when it is and when it isn't, is kind of what being a designer is all about.
